Performance Foodservice Offering Integrated Digital Marketing Platform

RICHMOND, VA (June 26, 2013)—Menuetta, a custom marketing solution with an integrated platform to manage marketing efforts through mobile devices, websites, social media and traditional print, is now available to the restaurant industry from Performance Foodservice.

Recent studies indicate that 95 percent of smartphone users conduct restaurant searches and that 90 percent of those visit an establishment among their search results. In addition to the integrated platform, Menuetta also offers separate design services for print and online menus, restaurant-specific websites, social media posts and special promotional offers.

“Today’s restaurant operators are relying more heavily on digital marketing to communicate with savvy customers,” said Fred Sanelli, Senior Vice President for Marketing, Brands & Sales Development for Performance Foodservice. “We developed Menuetta to simplify the process and ease the burden on restaurant operators by integrating the various digital platforms with a single Content Management System.”

Menuetta gives restaurateurs the capability to update their menu content and promotions and then post that content across digital and print channels. They can also manage customer loyalty programs and deliver email, MMS text campaigns and special promotions across multiple platforms using a customized Content Management System. A dynamic calendar feature enables users to schedule special promotions for later automatic delivery to social media sites and mobile applications.

“Menuetta provides a fully integrated package that eliminates the time-consuming steps necessary to make menu changes or communicate special promotions across multiple platforms,” added Sanelli. “It also enables restaurateurs to easily keep their website, mobile site, Facebook page and even their printed menus up to date constantly.”

With only 10 percent of restaurants currently offering a mobile-friendly website, Menuetta gives Performance Foodservice customers the ability to gain a competitive advantage by making it easier to connect with consumers.
