Golden State Foods Makes New Leadership Appointments

Golden State Foods has made several changes to its executive leadership and global food operations teams. The changes come as GSF aims to streamline its global operations and administrative functions.

As part its new structure, the company promoted Joe Heffington to corporate senior vice president and chief financial officer, in charge of all accounting, finance, corporate tax and corporate development. Heffington was formerly corporate vice president and chief accounting officer.

Brian Dick was promoted to corporate senior vice president and president of global liquid products and GSF Fresh produce. Dick was formerly corporate vice president and president of global liquid products North America.

GSF also named Bill Sanderson as corporate executive vice president and chief administrative officer; Ed Rodriguez as chief human resources officer; Carol Fawcett as corporate vice president and chief information officer; Guilda Javaheri as chief technology officer; John Maguire as corporate vice president and president of liquid products North America; Kevin Casto as group senior vice president manufacturing of liquid products North America; and Eric Treon as group senior business director of global liquid products.

“These strategic organizational changes will position GSF to meet and exceed the needs of our valued customers and will enable us to proactively address evolving customer needs and achieve self-managed excellence, while responding rapidly with innovative offerings to take advantage of demographic, consumer and technology trends,” Mark Wetterau, chairman and chief executive officer of GSF, said in a statement. “With this restructure, I’m confident that we have the right people in the right positions to drive digital solutions, innovate and ensure continuous improvement, all while reinforcing our unique culture, Creed and Values.”
